I'm trying to emphasize an "anything goes" policy, but my biggest love is for art... specifically animation.
Was sitting on a deck with my brother-in-law and he noticed that the little plastic weavings on one of the chairs looked like lips... Add a mini tripod, little point and shoot camera, and a little tinkering with imovie (wasn't the greatest for stop-motion editing) and you get this...
When I was 12, I went to a summer animation camp at Quickdraw Animation Society in Calgary, AB. I absolutely loved it and "animator" quickly replaced "astronaut" at the top of my list of "Things to be When I Grow Up". These are a few of the assignments that we had... Kind of gives a new meaning to being able to see "the hand of the artist" in their work...
My Dad turned 60 this year, so I made him a little video. It's pretty silly, but it was a lot of fun to make.
