Circus Colour

These are pretty crude but I just finished a very vivid book called Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen, and now I have this idea in my head to create a series of circus paintings. I thought it'd be fun to try sketching a couple of ideas using simple shapes and a limited colour pallet.
